Solar System Animation
Change 1: Background
I created the animation background using a cylinder and placing the planets inside of it instead of keeping the black background from the original solar system animation tutorial.
Change 2: Planet Textures
For each planet in the solar system, I used free textures online that I found on google images to make the planets look more realistic. Applying them was relatively simple once I figured it out, although it took me hours to find it because I had to press a specific key on my computer to make the textures visible. One improvement to be made would be to use different materials for each planet instead of having that "shiny" material for the sun, for instance.
Change 3: Planet Rotations
I changed the motion and the speed at which each planet was revolving around the sun to make the animation more interesting. It was relatively simple to create using key frames.
